The Alamo

Philadelphia - In 1776 the Declaration of Independence was signed, signaling the birth of a new nation. Visit historical landmarks like Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Stroll picturesque streets in Society Hill or climb the Museum steps made famous by Rocky.

Gettysburg Battlefield - In July 1863 - over 50,000 men were killed or injured in the worst battle of the Civil War - a battle that marked the turn of fate towards the Union. Gettysburg National Park has over 830 monuments, while the town has authentic period taverns and numerous Civil War memorabila shops.

The Alamo - In 1836, Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie and Colonel William Travis were among the brave group of 189 men who stood firm after crossing "the line in the sand" defending the Alamo against the Mexican invasion and preserving Texas. The Alamo represents 300 years of history and the heroic struggle against all odds.
